— Pea Ridge was honored and graciously accepted the AAIMS Flag (Arkansas Advanced Initiative for Advanced Placement) in a brief ceremony at Pea ridge High School Friday afternoon.

Mayor Jackie Crabtree, School Board president Jenny Wood, State Representative Donna Hutchinson, superintendent Mike Van Dyke, lead math and science teacher David Wentz and the director of Arkansas AAIMS Tommy Sue Anthony were present. Pea Ridge High School was selected in March to become an AAIMS school.

The grant has provided Pea Ridge High School teachers with over 300 professional development hours this summers and reward teachers and student cash incentives for qualifying scores for the upcoming school year.

We are extremely excited and ready for the journey.

PRHS has over 140 student this year involved in the AP program.
